Students attending the UC Center Program in Fall 2010 must register for courses before Tuesday 6 July, 2010. |
This registration is definitive. Course books, readers, and library materials will be provided to students at the beginning of the semester. Only under exceptional conditions can students change courses once they have registered.
It is highly recommended that students study the course descriptions and syllabi carefully. All courses receive UC general education credits. In the descriptions provided below, the UC Study Center recommends subject areas for each of the courses.
Students are encouraged to be in touch with their departmental Undergraduate Advisers if they wish these courses to count for major credit, since final decisions about credit for departmental majors remain with individual departments.
Please choose four courses in order of your priority, your first choice indicating your highest preference and your fourth your lowest. Student requests for courses will be treated in the order in which they were received, so it is in your best interest to complete your registration in a timely way.
Each student will be enrolled in a French language class based on the combined basis of your previous French (if any) and a placement test given on your arrival in Paris. During the academic semester, students take ONE French language course and TWO of the following:
